Health services in Camerons gets a boost with Subra’s visit

Datuk Seri Dr S.Subramaniam began his two day visit to Cameron Highlands with a visit to Sultanah Hajah Kalsom hospital today morning (15 April 2017).

The hospital built in 2006 with 40 bed capacity currently employs six medical officers serving the local community.  Dr Subra who is also the Health Minister announced that a Family Medicine Specialist would be posted in the hospital to enhance the scope of treatment accorded to patients seeking the services of the hospital.

In addition the water storage facilities currently in the hospital shall also be upgraded and improved soon.

Dr Subra also announced that upon resolving the land alienation issues, the Health Ministry would set up a community health center in Kampong Raja, Cameron Highlands
